Public Comments – Must sign up in advance on the list and must limit to 3 minute conversation.  Jefferson City Planning and Zoning Commission may ask questions but shall not discuss items that are not on the agenda.  On a subject that is not on the agenda, a person may add an item to a future Planning and Zoning Commission Agenda by contacting City Hall a minimum of 5 days prior to a regular Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting.

  1. P&Z – Rolls and Responsibilities of Chairman, Vice-Chair, Secretary. Chairman calls the meeting to order, creates agenda, Vice-Chair, fills in for the Chairman when necessary, Secretary types agenda, take minutes submit minutes to City Hall for recording
  2. Update and organize P&Z filing cabinet, located at City Hall
  3. Update on digital copy of maps from SPI.
  4. Discuss status of lamination of certain maps associated with the 2003 and included in Planning and Zoning groups.
  5. Discussion of desirability for a detailed budget for Planning and Zoning for the October 2024 through September 2025 City fiscal year and what items need to be included. All Committee members will have input on this process.
  1. WORKSHOP

There will be no action taken during the workshop.  This agenda item is for a workshop to open the floor for discussion on topics listed below.  There will be no action taken on approving the discussion topics contained within the workshop at this time.  Items may be placed on a future agenda for possible action at a later time.

  1. Continuation of prior meeting discussion of the draft of City of Jefferson Zoning Regulations (printed April 15, 2003) Article II, Sections 1-3.
  2. Review of Vol 2 part of the Zoning Regulations of the 2017 Commission.

The Jefferson Planning and Zoning Commission reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of the meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by the Texas Government Code.
