Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Jefferson City Council will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 5:30 PM at the Transportation Center at 305 E. Austin Street, Jefferson, Texas, at which time the subjects to be considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on the meeting notice. Unless removed from the consent agenda, items identified with the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.

a. Consider, discuss, and/or approve a Resolution Supporting the City of Jefferson’s application to the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TXDOT) 2023 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside (TA) Call for Projects.
b. Consider, discuss, and/or approve Memorandum of Understanding concerning Jefferson becoming a Music Friendly Community through the state of Texas Presented by Colleen Taylor & Missy Baldwin
c. Consider, discuss, and/or approve the following as it relates to the 2023 Street maintenance program:

e. Consider, discuss and/or approve a Petition, Resolution, and Deed Without Warranty to declare a portion of an abandoned alley located between Lots 3 and 4 in Block 3 of the Alley Addition of the City of Jefferson to be abandoned and closed and to convey Tract 1 of said alley containing approximately 523 square feet for the sum of $52.30 to David W. and Deborah S. Robertson by deed without warranty.
f. Consider, discuss and/or approve a Petition, Resolution, and Deed Without Warranty to declare a portion of an abandoned alley located between Lots 3 and 4 in Block 3 of the Alley Addition of the City of Jefferson to be abandoned and closed and to convey Tract 2 of said alley containing approximately 1437 square feet for the sum of $143.70 to RLM Series 1, a designated series of RL Montgomery Real Estate Holdings, LLC by a deed without warranty.
g. Consider, discuss and/or approve a Petition, Resolution, and Deed Without Warranty to declare a portion of Benners Street between Block 12 & 13, Speake Street between Block 13 & 24, and Friou Street between Block 24 and 23 and portions of alleys located in Block 12 between Lots 4-9, Block 13 between Lots 1-6 and 7-12, Block 13 between Lots 3,4,10, & 9, Block 24 between lots 1-4 and 9-12, Block 24 between Lots 3,4,9 & 10, Block 23 between Lots 1-6 and 7-12, and Block 23 between Lots 3,4,9, & 10 of the Alley Addition of the City of Jefferson to be abandoned and closed and to convey said streets and alleys containing approximately 69,696 square feet for the sum of $6,969.60 to Livewell Enterprises, LLC by a deed without warranty.
