Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of the Jefferson City Council will be held on September 19, 2022 at 6:00 PM at the Jefferson Transportation Center at 305 E. Austin Street, Jefferson, Texas, at which time the subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as listed below.

- DISCUSSION ITEM – Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget for the 2022/2023 Fiscal Year.
ANY RESIDENT IN ATTENDANCE MAY ADDRESS THE COUNCIL REGARDING THE PROPOSED BUDGET FOR THE OCTOBER 1, 2022 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2023 FISCAL YEAR.
This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year’s budget by an amount of $8,910, which is a 1.11 percent increase from last year’s budget and of that amount, the property tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year is $5,874.00
