NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the
proposed City of Jefferson Budget for the Fiscal Year
2021–2022 will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at
5:30 p.m. at the Transportation Center, 305 E Austin Street,
Jefferson, TX 75657.

This budget will raise less revenue from property taxes
than last year’s budget by an amount of $–8,284, which is a
–1.00 percent decrease from last year’s budget. The
property tax revenue to be raised from new property added
to the tax roll this year is $7,822.

A copy of the budget will be on file in City Hall for public
review. All interested citizens are invited to attend.
