Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing on the proposed City of Jefferson Budget for Fiscal Year 2020 – 2021 will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at the Transportation Center at 305 E. Austin, Jefferson, Texas.

This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $35,263 or 4.68% and of that amount $10,379 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.

A copy of the budget will be on file in the Office of the City Secretary for public review. All interested citizens are invited to attend.
