Description

The City of Jefferson, Texas is accepting applications for a Police Officer.  This position will be responsible for enforcing federal, state and local laws related to the protection of life and property; directing and controlling traffic; enforcing City Ordinances; investigating disturbances; and arresting violators.  This position is full-time with full-time benefits and retirement.

 

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Valid Texas Driver License.

Must have TCOLE Basic Peace Officer license.

Pass a background investigation; Psychological; Medical exam; Polygraph and Drug screening.

12 hour rotating shifts / TML Insurance / TMRS Retirement

Base Salary up to $35000 annually (DOQ).\
