Temporary City Hall Offices located at 305 E. Austin St. Jefferson, TX 75657: To make a utility payment in person or overnight drop, submission of building permits, sign permits, walking tour permits, amusement ride permits, alcohol permits, event applications, general questions on water, sewer, streets, and/or city cemetery lots.

Overnight Drop Box for Utility  Payments: 102 N. Polk St. Jefferson, TX 75657: placed in  dropped in the slot of the door at 305 E. Austin Street (Visitor Center: GREEN door at west end of building).

NOTICE: Update on Low Water Pressure 3/15/2024

A lightning strike, during the early morning storms, blew out a main water line that was isolated. With the assistance of TCEQ, the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, and City staff reviewed and discussed the emergency response procedures and determined that a Water Boil Notice is not necessary.
