NOTICE: Update on Low Water Pressure 3/15/2024

A lightning strike, during the early morning storms, blew out a main water line that was isolated. With the assistance of TCEQ, the Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, and City staff reviewed and discussed the emergency response procedures and determined that a Water Boil Notice is not necessary.

(green door at west end of building)

until further notice.

 

* Please call City Hall at 903-665-3922 for your balance or any other questions. If no one is available, please leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible. 

* OVERNIGHT PAYMENTS can be placed in the drop box of the front door located at 102 N. Polk Street (Old City Hall) or at 305 E. Austin Street (Visitor Center: green door at west end of building).

* PAYMENTS MADE IN PERSON: During normal business hours at 305 E. Austin Street (Visitor Center: green door at west end of building)

* Office Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm closed from 1pm – 2pm for lunch.

Temporary City Hall Offices located at 305 E. Austin St. Jefferson, TX 75657: To make a utility payment in person or overnight drop, submission of building permits, sign permits, walking tour permits, amusement ride permits, alcohol permits, event applications, general questions on water, sewer, streets, and/or city cemetery lots. 

Vendor Permits: Please Contact the Jefferson Police Department: 903-665-2432

Overnight Drop Box for Utility  Payments: 102 N. Polk St. Jefferson, TX 75657: placed in  dropped in the slot on the front door of the Old City Hall (102 N. Polk Street) or at 305 E. Austin Street (Visitor Center: green door at west end of building).
